More Than a Team.

A Development Pathway.

Hoops House Junior Teams combine structured professional training with real competition — giving young players the right foundation while building confidence, teamwork, and game understanding.

What Are Hoops House Junior Teams?

Hoops House Junior Teams are structured development squads for players in Years 3–6 who are ready to train consistently and compete in the Manly Warringah Basketball local competition.

Unlike school teams, our Junior Teams are built around:

  • Professional Hoops House training sessions

  • Clear player development structure

  • Team placement into local competition

  • Parent-supported game coaching (with guidance)

  • A pathway into future Hoops House squads

This is not just a team.
It’s a structured entry into the Hoops House pathway.

Program Structure

18 professional Hoops House training sessions

  • Teams entered into MWBA Local Competition

  • Parent-coached games

  • Centralised team administration

  • Limited teams per age group

Training sessions are run at Hoops House by experienced coaches in shared development blocks to ensure quality and consistency.

Game-day coaching is led by parents, supported with clear structure and guidance from Hoops House.

Parent Coaching – Supported & Structured

We empower parents to coach games with support and structure.

Before the season begins, all team coaches attend:

  • A Parent Coach Seminar

  • Game rotation & substitution guidance

  • Team principles framework

  • Behaviour & communication expectations

You are not left alone — we provide structure so games remain positive, organised, and development-focused.
